Customer Consent & Communication Preferences

Mission Control is committed to transparent, consent-based communication. This page outlines how we obtain, record, and honor customer consent for all outbound communications.

Our Consent Framework

Explicit Consent

All outbound calls require explicit prior consent from the prospect or customer. We never cold-call without documented permission.

Documented Records

Every consent is timestamped, stored with source information, and linked to the specific communication type authorized.

Revocable Anytime

Customers can withdraw consent at any time via our Opt-Out page, phone, or email. Withdrawal is processed within 24 hours.

How We Obtain Consent

1Web Forms & Landing Pages

  • Contact Request Forms: Prospects submit their information with explicit checkbox consent: "I agree to receive calls from [Company] regarding their services."
  • Demo Request Forms: Include clear disclosure of follow-up communication methods.
  • Webinar/Event Registration: Attendees opt-in to post-event follow-up calls.
  • Quote/Pricing Requests: Submission implies consent to discuss pricing via phone.

2Written Agreements & Contracts

  • MSAs (Master Service Agreements): Include communication consent clauses covering account management calls.
  • NDAs & Partnership Agreements: Authorize follow-up communications regarding the business relationship.
  • Subscription Agreements: Terms explicitly permit service-related outbound calls.

3Existing Business Relationships (EBR)

  • Current Customers: Prior purchase or service agreement establishes EBR for related communications.
  • Trial Users: Product trials include consent for onboarding and support calls.
  • Inquiry Within 3 Months: Per FTC guidelines, recent inquiries permit follow-up within 90 days.

4Verbal Consent (Recorded)

  • Inbound Calls: When a prospect calls in, we request verbal permission for follow-up. This is recorded and timestamped.
  • Opt-In During Calls: "May we call you back if we have additional information?" — recorded affirmative responses count as consent.

Consent Recording & Storage

Every consent record in Mission Control captures the following metadata:

  • Appointment Confirmation: Scheduled meeting reminders
  • Support Callbacks: Returning support ticket requests

Inbound Calls

Important: Mission Control supports both inbound and outbound calling. Inbound calls from customers who initiate contact are always welcomed. Outbound calls are only made to individuals who have provided prior express consent.

Additional Compliance Measures

Do-Not-Call (DNC) List Enforcement

We scrub all call lists against the National DNC Registry and maintain internal DNC lists. Numbers on DNC are blocked before any dial attempt.

Calling Hour Restrictions

Outbound calls are only made during permissible hours: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM in the prospect's local timezone, per TCPA regulations.

STIR/SHAKEN Caller ID Authentication

All outbound calls use STIR/SHAKEN attested caller IDs (A-level attestation) via Telnyx to prevent spoofing and improve answer rates.

Call Recording Disclosure

Where required by state law (e.g., California, Florida), calls include recording disclosure at the start: "This call may be recorded for quality assurance."

Opt-Out Honoring

Any request to stop calling is processed immediately. The number is added to our internal DNC and the lead is flagged as "Do Not Contact."

Regular Compliance Audits

Monthly internal audits review consent documentation, call recordings, and DNC compliance. Annual third-party audits ensure regulatory adherence.
